Meet Jessica

Jessica Cragg

Experience

Over the past 15 years I have obtained therapeutic/counselling experience by working in;

  • Youth Shelters

  • Youth Residential Treatment

  • Child Welfare

  • Domestic Violence Treatment

  • Sexual Abuse Treatment

  • Adoption

These experiences have allowed me to gain a great deal of expertise and comfort in supporting children, youth, adults and families while they heal.

Continued Training

I have participated in and continue to take numerous courses that pertain to Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Attachment and Trauma. I am always learning clinically proven interventions such as Mindfulness, Ego States, Somatic,  Polyvagal and CBT. Additionally, I am a certified EMDR therapist which I have witnessed to be transformational in the lives of those I have helped.

I am committed to continue learning how you could be impacted by colonialism, prejudice, racism, oppression and how to use the unearned privilege that I hold to advocate for others.

Your Worries

You might be hesitant to start therapy. Maybe you have tried it before and it wasn’t helpful, maybe you have fears of opening up to a stranger or maybe you aren’t certain about starting therapy right now.

My primary focus is to reduce those fears with authenticity and compassion. We will accomplish this by collaborating to create realistic goals and working towards them.

My secondary focus is helping you feel comfortable, sharing a laugh, maybe sharing a tear and being two real people working together.

Still not sure? Book a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit.
